Mental fitness can be defined as having the skills and practices to improve your state of emotional well-being to live your best life. It involves developing core practices and becoming aware of how you think, behave, and feel.

When you’re physically not well, you know it — the symptoms come on and you know it’s time to get some sleep or go to the gym, but when you’re experiencing anger, anxiety, depression or grief you don’t always know what to do. Our sessions help support and develop new behaviors that will allow you to be more than “fine”.

What is Integrative Behavioral Coaching?

A huge hurdle for most people when beginning the journey towards a healthy mental & emotional state is actually setting aside the time to do the exercises and creating space to practice, especially when a go-go-go schedule often makes work bleed into life.

Integrative behavioral coaching is an approach to mental and emotional health that involves selecting techniques from different therapeutic orientations best suited to address a clients particular concern. Our approach is problem focused and solution oriented to give fast and effective results with every session that can be built upon. By tailoring each session to the individual or group, we can produce the most significant and long lasting effects. Unlike some single school approaches, integrative behavioral coaching is not restricted to a particular methodology or school of thought. Instead, we draw on different techniques as they are needed. (CBT, ACT, DBT, somatic experiencing, yoga, meditation, breathwork…etc). The goal of this is to improve the efficacy and efficiency of treatment by being flexible to the ever-changing needs of our clients throughout life.
